My office is at home, keeping my business costs to a minimum. That's one of the reasons my rates are so much cheaper than the larger web design firms running expensive offices downtown. Another reason is that I am a big fan of fair play - some designers like to perpetuate the myth that web design is a bit like brain surgery in order to justify their huge fees. It's not - they're just ripping you off!
